Portugal maintained their 100% record by beating Liechtenstein and Iceland.
Fernandes created two decent chances against Liechtenstein and scored a sublime goal in his side’s 2-0 win over Iceland.
The 29-year-old has registered 13 goals and assists, the second-highest in qualifying.
