Lee Congerton under shock Manchester United consideration as former Celtic talent spotter ‘in mix’ for top job

Incoming Manchester United game–changer Sir Jim Ratcliffe has former Celtic transfer guru Lee Congerton under consideration for his major Old Trafford revamp – according to a report.

The English billionaire will take a 25 per cent stake in the Old Trafford club and lead the football side with the controversial Glazers remaining in charge. And Ratcliffe is on the hunt for a director of football to reinvigorate one of the biggest clubs in the world. A host of signing specialists have been linked and now Congerton – who currently serves as Atlanta’s head of senior recruitment – is on their wanted list.
