Manchester United tracking youngest captain in Ligue 1

According to Football Insider, the Senegal-born central defender is one of the hottest properties in French football and is firmly on the radar of several Premier League clubs.

The 21-year-old is also believed to be attracting attention from European giants AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.

United last dealt with Le Harve in 2009 – under controversial circumstances – when they took Paul Pogba from their academy as a teenager.

Le Harve may not be France’s biggest club – winning Ligue 1 titles or competing in Europe – but they’re renowned for producing talented footballers and it sounds like Sangante is the latest name to set alarm bells off among elite clubs.

Sangante has made 10 Ligue appearances so far this season, with Le Harve keeping clean sheets in five of those matches. They’ve drawn against Monaco, Lens and Lyon.

On another note, Sangante is the youngest club captain in Ligue 1.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United should be looking at other players in Ligue 1.
