TEN HAG: OUR ATTACK WILL CLICK

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reiterated his belief that he believes it is only a matter of time before forwards Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund start scoring in the Premier League.

The boss was originally quizzed by beIN Sports about Rasmus Hojlund, and whether the Denmark forward has too much pressure on his shoulders.

The Scandinavian striker, who missed his country’s recent internationals due to injury, is yet to open his Premier League account, but has already picked up an impressive five goals in the UEFA Champions League, a fact which was noted by Ten Hag.

“If you score in the Champions League five times, you will score also in the Premier League, it’s just a matter of time,” the Dutchman said.

“As long as we, as a team, are creating the chances, and as long as he is convinced, I believe he will start scoring goals.”
